1. Define your area
Provide a boundary file, clear coordinates or an unambiguous place name. Explain whether you need the whole area covered in one acquisition or whether multiple observations are acceptable.
2. Set your observation window
List the relevant dates and whether you need archive imagery, the most recent suitable observation or a future acquisition. State a separate deadline for delivery.
3. Describe the intended use
Explain the task and audience for the output. State the detail you need to see, the sensor or bands required, and the format and projection expected by your workflow.
4. Check permissions and quality
Confirm who will access the imagery, how outputs will be shared and whether model training or redistribution is involved. Review the licence, quality information and acceptance criteria before ordering.
5. Agree the order terms
Review pricing, taxes where applicable, delivery conditions, cancellation rules and the process for reporting a product issue. Keep the quotation, product specification, licence and confirmation together.
